Munchies in the form of Neckties & some thoughts while I made each 1 of 1 artweark piece! A wearable piece of art made by me, Rio by "painting" with retaso :)
- I just got obsessed with the intricacies of creating neckties
- taking apart vintage kinds and discovering the craft
- hand stitching the labels and loops
- learning how to tie with different textiles at play
- combining & collaging an odd shape
- ironing & patience
- i drew each piece (most before sewing // few after sewing)
- each necktie is numbered so you know it's 1 of 1!
