About the event

We’re on a mission to be better stewards of our precious planet. One good choice for People & Planet at a time.

Join Graze & Gobble on September 16, 2023, World Cleanup Day!

World Cleanup Day is the world’s largest one-day civic action to engage more than 180 countries to tackle global waste crisis. World Cleanup Day is not just about cleanups. It's a strong and unique network of doers who share the vision of the waste-free world and believe that together we can clean up the world from waste.

On World Clean Up Day, in our local city, we will join Surfrider Miami for another amazing International Coastal Cleanup.

Surfrider Miami will provide garbage buckets, gloves, data collection cards, and a souvenir tote bag with this year’s marine animal theme, a Seahorse.  *Community Service hours also provided*

For more than 35 years, 17 million volunteers have joined the International Coastal Cleanup to collect more than 350 million pounds of plastic and debris, all the while recording what they find and helping inform research and legislation across the world. No matter where you are, you can help ocean creatures enjoy a trash free home. When we clean up our home, all those that live in the ocean can #SeaTheChange.

If you are in Miami, visit www.VolunteerCleanUp.org or if you are outside of Miami, visit www.OceanConservancy.com to sign up for a coastal clean up near you!
